This blog post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx.

I don’t know about you but I felt like I had settled into the perfect routine at the beginning of the year when it came to self-care and wellness but when Summer hit I just got lazy. I stopped working out, my skin care routine has fallen off, and I gained 10lbs. I don’t know if it was the fact I got my social life back this summer or life just happened. But in any case I am ready to get back on track this Fall.

Here are 4 Ways to Fall Back into Self-Care and Wellness This Fall.

Start Walking – Walking is the perfect activity to help you get back on track with your wellness goals this fall. Not only is walking good for weight loss but it also helps relieve stress and depression.  A lot of people suffer from seasonal depression this time of the year and also become stressed with planning for the upcoming holiday season. Fall is my favorite season to walk in because while the temperatures are starting to get a bit cooler it’s still warm enough to enjoy a brisk walk and get some natural Vitamin D to help with seasonal depression and stress. An added bonus is the fall foliage you get to take in the colorful scenery on your walk if you live on the east coast like me. I like to get a walk in before I start work and in the afternoon.

Start Walking

Add Apple Cider Vinegar – This summer while reconnecting with friends over brunch and dinner, I didn’t pay much attention to what I ate or when I ate. Before I knew it I had gained 10lbs and my favorite pair of jeans didn’t fit the same. To help me fall back to my weightloss goals this Fall. I am adding back to my morning routine a shot of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar. It helps control appetite and manage weight gain. As well as maintain healthy blood sugar levels and healthy cholesterol levels. Beyond their famous Apple Cider Vinegar, Bragg’s product family consists of a wide range of offerings including apple cider vinegar shots, olive oil, seasonings, salad dressings, beverages, and more. If the taste makes you hesitant, no worries! I like to add a shot to my water before I take my morning walk with a lime or lemon for taste. Mind your business and Stay Hydrated – Just because temperatures are cool does not mean that you don’t need to still stay hydrated. Water is not only good for you, but it also helps with weight loss and glowing skin. I admit most of the time I don’t get enough water in. Don’t ask me why but I can only drink water if it is flavored, which is why I add HALO’s On The Go Hydration to my water after I come from my walk to help replenish my electrolytes and vitamins. Since I am trying to lose weight it’s better than drinking soda or juice because it is only 15 calories and 1g of sugar per stick. It’s cold season so the added bonus is it has 1,200mg of Vitamin C to boost my immunity and B Vitamins to help maintain energy and support metabolism. My favorite is the Lemonade and Pink Lemonade Flavors. Experience complete hydration. Shop now here and use code: HALO20 for 20% off.

Show Yourself TLC – A lot of people found they neglect themselves during the Fall season for various reasons. It’s the perfect time to get back to showing yourself a little tender loving care with self-care. This fall to get back on track with my overall wellness. I am dedicating an hour each night to getting back on track with my skin care routine and pampering myself. Especially in the colder months when your skin gets dry and dull from the weather. I use Tree Hut’s Margarita Citron Sugar Scrub to help quench and brighten dull, dry skin with the juicy scent of Margarita Citron! It leaves my skin feeling soft.

You can’t forget showing your face some love too!  As a part of my night routine I use Mineral 89 Prebiotic from Vichy, a face serum with niacinamide. Stress has a damaging effect on the skin barrier and the skin’s ability to repair itself, resulting in visible signs including dryness, redness, dullness, and fine lines. Using a prebiotic helps repair visible signs of aging from stress. As a woman in my 40s it’s important that I take care of my skin as it ages. I love that it has  mineral-rich Vichy volcanic water, vitreoscilla ferment and niacinamide.

Before I go to sleep I apply Flexitol Lip Balm, a unique 3-way lip balm that exfoliates, hydrates, and alleviates discomfort of dry lips. I recommend this to all my girlfriends because as the weather gets colder my lips tend to get chapped more than they do in the summer. Especially when I am out walking in the cooler temperatures. I like that it has menthol and camphor to provide a cooling relief. When I wake my lips are nice and hydrated and don’t peel or flake as much through the day.

I hope my tips help you to Fall Back into your wellness and health this Fall. Let me know if you have tried any of the products I mentioned or what you are doing to get back on track with your wellness goals this Fall.
